ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: Thanksgiving
This piece for ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY is in honor of my friend, Chuck, who died on Thanksgiving day 2003. Chuck, my friend Doe, and I would go on the craziest adventures when we were younger. We always seemed to gravitate towards the woods, or old graveyards . I spent some time in some yesterday, took some photos, and just thought about Chuck and the things he loved. He was a beautiful man. Through and through. Attached are three of my favorite photos of him. One with his faithful friend Gideon. My favorite.

I like your illustration...very nice. I was touched by the tribute to your friend, too. I hope someone was there to comfort and care for Gideon after Chuck's passing :(
Wonderful tribute! My mother-in-law died two years ago today after a fall down the basement stairs. She was in a coma for 3 days then passed. She was going down to put her baked fresh pies for Thanksgiving to cool because there was no room in the fridge. I know how you feel and I love the the thought and care you put into this post.He will always be and is lovingly remembered in your work!
